this is definatly a awesome venue..went last night and had an amazing meal.I ordered the steak tartare at 13 pounds.It was possibly the best ive ever had(being a chef myself am very critical).the service was friendly,not to in your face,just good real! people serving good food,london needs more places like this,one thing i hope is they tone down there diners only policy in the downstairs area,people generally want to eat where they are seated,and vice versa,perhaps a glitch that needs to be wroked out,notebly they do not serve chips as a main course,thank god,there is nothing worse than having a beautiful selection of main courses when your clientel insist on eating only chips..so props to you for having this policy!!!!great stuff!!i had the apple tart to finish and this is purely great fresh british cookery!!absolutly delicious!!5 stars for food5 stars for service5 stars for great pub atmospherei hope they can keep it up...xxx
