I have been a regular visitor here for over six years and i have seen many changes over this time. I used to love the dinner menu options that were constantly being updated, but they seem to be fewer now ( credit crunch may be). Whilst the coffee is good, it never quite seems to be hot enough to sit and relax and take you're time over (health and safety issue or personal preference may be) they have a great selection of interesting cakes on offer and pricey, all of the staff seem relaxed and friendly. There are issues with dirty tables, especially upstairs where you can see the food ingrained into the wood, I can't eat upstairs for this reason! The seating is generally uncomfortable and tables are wobbly - recycling aside, it doesn't take much effort to fix these issues. I can also be quite cold which doesn't help when you wish to relax. I still visit for coffee and snacks but will rarely stay for dinner with friends.
