I feel I must reply to the review by Laughout Loud:-1) My wife and I had a starter each which took 15 mins to be served.2) My youngest son and I then had our main meals served which was another 25 mins later. 3) We finished our main meals and my grandaughter(22 months old) had still had not recieved her meal of spaghetti.(a hour after ordering)4)by this time my grandaughter starting crying and playing up because she was hungry and tired so my eldest son and wife went to the carvery for their meals so he could feed her with some of his meal.5) The vegetables and potatoes were all dried out and had obviously been out for some time and some were unrecognisable for what they were and the one vegetable you could recognise - carrots - were cold. The assistant manager said they were short staffed because a chef had phoned in sick and would come over and see us in a few minutes.6) My son ate some of his meal and fed some to his daughter when finally a serving of spaghetti was finally served.7) By this time my son had had enough of this and complained to the manageress (the assistant manager never came over to our table) with my wife. She was very terse and unhelpful, finally giving a refund for the spaghetti and the two carvery meals but as my wife had ordered her meal as a diamond club member she would have to pay the full price of £3.99 for the starter - first class customer service!8)i also take exception to the implication that my wife was ranting and drunk because she had had a bottle of wine. We took half the bottle back home with us. I thik it is a disgrace that a member of staff can be allowed to post this kind of comment on a public web site with an absoltely untrue version of event.9)when we first went in for our meal it was not very busy and there was plenty of empty tables. It did get busy later on when we were still waiting for the spaghettiby the way my wife went back in and still gave the waiter a tip as he was not at fault in anyway.
