This was the most awful experience I've ever had in Leeds. I've been going to Browns for a number of years. I went there with a friend on Saturday. Firstly, the table was filthy. Then we had to wait 30 minutes before a waiter decided to grace our presence. After ordering, what was a very expensive meal, we were served some dried up old chicken, tiny portions, with some undressed salad and McDonald's chips. We then had to wait a further 40 minutes (no waiters anywhere!) to get a coffee.
We rushed to settle our bill and leave the restaurant. On returning the next day for a coffee (The only reason we returned was because everywhere else was very crowded in the Christmas rush) a waiter came over to us an accused us of not paying our bill.
I complained directly to the manager and suggested that he employed people a) who could serve before we all died and b) who could add up. I stormed out of Browns, Leeds, and never want to return again. I suggest you heed this advice. The place looks good, but the staff are no better than those found in a fast food joint.
