The food is extremely poor with almost everything deep fried or microwaved. I would assume that the menu is devised by what is available on a pre prepared basis from the catering suppliers. The lamb shank was so hot it was nuclear, having clearly been microwaved as was the accompanying mash & veg. The sharing platter was all deep fried & burnt. because everything is frozen the chef (I use the term loosely) over fries the food so it's cooked through. The only stuff not over cooked was the garlic bread which was barely warm. Bearing this in mind I'll leave it to you to decide whether it's value for money. Sharing platter£10.95.lamb shank £14.95. The only fresh thing was the sprig of rosemary

Such a shame. The restaurant is lovely and the waitress who served us was also very friendly. However, it was all ruined by a stubborn chef who insisted the bechamel sauce in the lasagne was meant to look like wallpaper paste. I have eaten in many restaurants and cook regularly myself and as I'm sure most people would agree, this sauce is meant to be smooth and creamy. When I complained (after eating almost none of it), I was told there was nothing they could do as the chef said that's how it is meant to be. Wrong! The manager also didn't take the time to come to me himself, which is bad service and I should not have been made to pay for something that was definitely not prepared correctly.
