As I called in The Ings on my way home one Friday evening with my son who had gone to the toilet on our arrival he was met by the landlord Joe who had mistakenly identified my son as being responsible for someone else's sick being present in The Gentleman's toilets. He insisted he went back into the toilets and clean it up. After trying to explain to the landlord that he was not responsible for the sick in the toilets and him not listening I got his attention by giving him back his Carling at great expense.. Follow this altercation a meeting was held and I was banned from all Public Houses within the Aireborough District. My actions would not have taken place if the previous had not happened.. Be ware, these Tennants will bar you..
Such a rude horrid landlord. I dropped my son off at the tutors house opposite the ings pub and was texting some friends to come and meet me in the pub for a couple of hours. I noticed a lady going in with 2 Airedale dogs giving me a dirty look and 2 seconds later the landlord flies out of the door angrily gesturing for me to open the car window and shouted to me "if you're going to park in my car park then park in the lines as your stopping people getting in" er? what lines? Barely visible faded bays? He then turned and walked away. I immediately rescheduled our afternoon to the station pub in guiseley and we had a lovely time.

Such a rude horrid landlord. I had visited once before and enjoyed my time there and recommended to friends who had laughed saying it's like the slaughtered lamb from an american werewolf in London film They turned out to be right! What an extremely rude landlady! Taking drinks before we have finished, huffing and puffing and slamming things around, then hoovering up around us! The worst pub we have ever been to!
Made to feel unwelcome, very unfriendly customers who stared at you. Lived on Ings Lane but would never go back. Prefer The Station and White Cross which have a much more friendly atmosphere.
Warm friendly pub with excellently kept real ales, taylor's Landlord and Tetley,s Bitter are fantastic! Well worth a visit anytime, particularly in winter with two lovely log burning fires! Garry, guiseley
Can get quiet in here so would only really come here for a quick one or if you wanted somewhere peaceful to read or something.
