I hosted my birthday celebration in the private dining room here and I cannot fault the place. FOOD: Everything was cooked to perfection, particularly the Chateaubriands steak and beef dripping chips. My guests were extremely impressed, and they are all used to high standards of cuisine. If I was to make one criticism, I think the starter choices could have been improved as they didn't cover a broad range of tastes, but the A la carte menu is constantly changing with the season.DRINK: The cocktails were also fantastic (Martinis, Old Fashioneds and Mojitos all tried and recommended by my party), and the spirits menu was the most extensive I have seen in Leeds. The wine list provided plenty of options for all budgets.SERVICE: Attentive, but not overbearing. Perfect for the leisurely dinner I was seeking. All of the staff from the moment we walked in were professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Prior to the event, the events manager Anita ensured that all my needs were catered for.ATMOSPHERE: The private dining room (known as the 'Boardroom') was spectacular - they had created a grand, atmospheric environment for my dinner. We only briefly saw the main restaurant area but it looked just as good and I intend to return in the near future to sample it.This is without doubt the best restaurant I have been to in Leeds.
