Once a gem, now going quickly down hill!
Prices have been masively raised and potions have shrunk!
Recently ordered a lasagne with salad- the salad comprised of one leaf, one slice of tomato and one slice of cucumber- not impessed, and not the 'Deli' standard it used to be! This 6 month ago would have also included garlic bread, and the salad much more inspiring! Also would have cost £4 max, now at least £4.50!
This is just one example, but I could carry on about many a yumyum meal.
Also the woman who I assume is the boss does not seem to care less about customer loyalty, once they had no lettuce on the shelves, so she offered me a salad box full, she then shamelessly charged me the price of a salad box around £3, for what was less than a bag!
(must say though the rest of the staff are lovely, and always provide a bit of friendly banter- they are the reason for the 2nd star!)
Now I just feel its convenient if I really have to go, but won't really eat there out of choice.
The food is of a good standard, I just dont feel like I am getting value for money or customer loyalty.

Overpriced with unfriendly staff. It felt like I was doing them a favour spending my own money.
It could be so much better with the right customer service.

The idea behind Yum Yum is excellent - if it was only three times the size. Just try actually shopping in here at 10am on a Sunday morning (one of those times when you actually need and use a convenience store), and it is nigh on impossible to get to any shelves past all those people that are eating - packed in right next to the area of the shop that contains all the produce. Since Simpson's (my, how I miss it) closed, this is my closest amenity, and as such I would quite like to be able to make it to a shelf without having to squeeze between 20 people having their breakfast - and feeling like I am being rude for trying to use this shop...as an actual shop.
