This is a brilliant venue that suits people who appreciate quality. As befits a truly independent venue it has a genuine character that is unique. The atmosphere shifts through the day / evening / night to match the clientele. This would be sufficient, but wait - there's a phenomenal menu, with excellent value for money too! The chefs know what they're doing and aren't afraid to experiment and demonstrate how good they are.

Customer service is (almost) uniformly superb and the bar has a wide range of wines / beers / spirits, all well selected and the staff are knowledgeable and always ready to offer guidance if you are unable to make your mind up.

Combine this with a door policy that is "always free to enter" and regular offers to entice you in. It's a venue that is rapidly becoming an addiction for me.

(and they also serve a rather good cup of coffee)

Bought Groupon voucher and have tried to use several times in Distrikt and have been told on every occasion when I have tried to book that they have no availability. I know it says in the t's and c's not Wednesdays or Sundays which is fair enough but I have tried Fridays - full, Saturdays - full and the best is they didn't even ask me what time I wanted to eat so they are obviously full up every day Wednesday to Sunday! Must be good.

Distrikt is an amazing venue, its a bit hidden away but thats the beauty as it seems only to have sound people down there and not full of dickheads. The food is amazing and really good value for money. And to top it off the music is always spot on, wicked lineups every week. Really can't recommend Distrikt enough!
