Terrible!!! When we arrived the restaurant was very busy probably due to the KGB voucher deal we were using (which wasn't actually the agreed deal and was in fact totally different! so prepare to be conned if using the KGB voucher!) We were sat almost literally on top of the people seated near to us, the atmosphere was poor with people shouting to hear each other partly due to the place being so crowded and also due to the background rock music..!! The food was absoultely dire, swimming in grease and each bite made me feel sicker and sicker, the staff all appeared to be severely depressed and not particularly bothered about us as customers which wasn't suprising after we spoke to the manager to complain about the quality of the food. I'd be depressed if I worked for him!. The manager's attitude was appauling and when we explained that we weren't willing to pay for the service charge (which should be optional) and also the tsatsiki due to it swimming in oil and the pitta bread being stale he ordered one of his staff members to call the police. After explaining to him it was a civil matter and that he might be held responsible for wasting police time he agreed to waiver the fee for the tsatsiki, before shouting at us and calling us pathetic!! My partner and I earn 60k a year between us so debating over a £4.75 tsatsiki and £4 service charge is not particularly about the money, more about the principle of being ripped off. We eventually left after a wasted call to the police! Back to the food, the meatballs were burnt and the meal overall was far to oily and quite frankly was disgusting. The price for the food and service provided was beyond a joke and I will not be attending that place again and I strongly advise you not to! To top it off as soon as we got home we both had to run to the toilet with stomach complaints!!!

Olive Tree is the best restaurant in Leeds - period. We dined on a busy Thursday evening at Chapel Allerton and the food and service was top notch. Must recommend the mix dips to start followed by the Kleftiko which just falls off the bone. Cannot wait for my next visit.

Terrible, rude staff and cold atmosphere, we tried one more time to "enjoy" a meal out, Greek food being our favourite, but we were never even offered a drink after 30 minutes, we left and will never go again!

Terrible! If I could give it zero stars I would. When we booked our table for 5 we told them it was a special event - a birthday for one of our party. We had travelled 45 minutes to get there. We were seated, we had menus thrown at us, and were then ignored for 30 minutes while the waiters cleaned tables, served people who had arrived later than us, and ignored any attempts to get their attention (well, not ignored, but they would say "I just have to..." and scurry off, never to be seen again). We got up and left after our half hour of waiting without a drink or our order being taken.
An aside: our 'birthday' friend has been to many Greek restaurants in several countries and tells us that this one has no Greek atmosphere whatsoever (in fact IMHO it has no atmosphere at all, it is pretentious and soulless).
We left and walked 10 minutes up the road to the West Park Lounge where we had the best night's dining I have ever had in Leeds. Lesson learned - I will never go to an Olive Tree again.

one word AMAZING. Went for my dads birthday and there were 7 of us and my 3 year old little girl. the food was fantastic the staff were great. My little girl was treated like royalty. We had their set price menu which was 3 courses for £15. There was plenty of choice and is the best set menu i have seen. The staff were all really pleasent, helpful and fantastic with my little one. Best meal I have ever had out. defo recommend this one.
