Leeds promoters System are shifting out of their city home of Mint to the 600-acre Temple Newsam estate. The setting is just beautiful but with beats from the likes of Sven Vath is sure to take on an enchanting aura all of its own. Sven Vath's Cocoon will see a Funktion-1 soundsystem transported to the park, as well as glamorous Cocoon club dancers from Frankfurt and a spectacular light show. If you're a regular on the White Isle, you'll no doubt have heard of Sven Vath's Cocoon parties at Amnesia. This year marked their 10th anniversary and this is the first time Cocoon is hosting a day-long festival. Leeds clubbers should count themselves as very lucky indeed to be able to buy Cocoon in the Park Tickets.
Fabric
With his own successful label, Sven Vath's contacts book is about as hot as they come, and for this gig he's invited along some other heavyweights in the techno scene. Those lucky enough to get Cocoon in the Park Tickets will also get to see Luciano, a DJ whose career has taken him around the hot and sticky clubs of South Amercia, as well as Europe, Switzerland, and our very own Fabric.

Joining this hedonistic hiatus from the city is Steve Bug. Purveyor of deep house and techno, his label Poker Flat has left an indelible mark on the scene. And to top it off there's Adam Shelton, the promoter of Birmingham's freshest warehouse party - Below. With 11 hours of non-stop techno to keep you hopping about, some of the cream of the scene on the decks, and a setting in the outdoors where you can shirk of your city inhibitions, this is set to be one of the sets of the festival season. Sven Vath is hoping to make it a regular date, so get your Cocoon in the Park Tickets and be one of the first.
Cocoon in the Park takes place at Temple Newsam from noon to 11pm on Saturday 27th June 2009. Cocoon in the Park tickets cost £35.
