Roundhay Park
The biggest of the Leeds fireworks displays is at Roundhay Park where, each year, thousands gather to watch the lighting of the bonfire and the fantastic fireworks. The fire will be lit at 7.30pm and the fireworks start at 8pm. In the lead up to the fireworks fun there's also live music and entertainment which is sure to help you shake of those November chills. Admission is free.
City Park Displays
You can also enjoy fanstatic firework displays at many of the parks in Leeds. Fireworks displays and bonfire nights are being held all around the city and, what's more, they're free so there's no reason not to celebrate Guy Fawkes night. The council and fire services also strongly advise you to attend a professional display rather than host your own fireworks party - it's a lot less hassle and it's free!
Free Fireworks
If you prefer a quieter display, there are plenty of other Leeds fireworks displays are taking place for the 5th November. At Springhead Park, East End Park, Bramley Park, Middleton Park and Woodhouse Moor you can enjoy the burning of the bonfire and fireworks. All bonfires will be lit at 7pm and the firework displays start at 7.30pm. All the displays are free.
