Stopped here for lunch yesterday. Would just like to say the food was fantastic. Chips and onion rings were the best I have ever eaten. The decor is very cool and unusual

Great venue, great food, great ales. What more could you ask for? The free gigs they do are always fantastic too. Go and find this gem!

I am so very happy that you had a good time at the Nation of Shopkeepers. I will still stand by my review, poor food, poor service but hey that my opinion which we are all entitled to.

Decided to have a quick bite to eat one lunch time and I have to say for pretty normal pub fare it was the slowest service I have had for a long time and when the food finally arrived some 45 minutes later it was very average. The presentation was awful, my burger was presented in a cheap plastic basket, the type you would find in subway. It's overpriced food and I would avoid.

Having eaten when it was the Court Yard I was so disappointed in how this place has change. I will not be going back.

Regarding the above. Well if you liked The Courtyard this definitely says something about you doesn't it. The food is brilliant at Nation of Shopkeepers, you're probably too stupid to realise that the baskets are original amrican diner style baskets that they use in american burger joints, but you're probably not cultured enough to appreciate the finer points of food service. 45minutes wait? I doubt it.

agree 100%. 35 minutes my friend and i waited for 2 average burgers.wont be returning i'm afraid.

Yoichi's reply is exactly the reason I won't be going back to NoS. It just illustrates the snobby, cooler/more cultured than thou attitude which almost every customer and member of staff has. What a joke!!
