The Backroom is a bar situated under the railway bridge on Call Lane with an entrance that's disguised as a sweet shop. The Backroom has a 1920s America style, so except a variety of Prohibition era cocktails.

Open Thurs, Fri, Sat and Bank Holiday Sun evenings until late. We cater for a wide range of events and group bookings.
Split over two levels with plenty of comfy booth seating, large dance floor area, outdoor smoking terrace and full A/V facilities. The venue is suitable for a wide range of events and group bookings from 2 to 500 people. The upstairs & downstairs rooms are both available to hire.

Didn't know what to expect with it really, was pleasantly surprised! Great cocktail menu and nice relaxed feel to it, added to my list of call lane bars to visit!
