Please don't go and waste your time at Citrus.We went to Citrus at around 12:00pm on a Saturday even though it was lunch time it was probably only half full. We were given the menu - which is very limited, it didn't have any drinks on it and when we asked for a drinks menu we were told there wasn't one. I took my 2 year old little boy with me and was told there was no childrens menu's and they wouldn't do smaller portion sizes so I had to order him and adult size burger at the full cost. It took about 10 minutes for our drinks to come. We then waited an hour for two paninis, a beef burger and a chicken burger! After 45 minutes we asked one of the waitresses where our food was, she came back and said 'it will be 2 minutes, they are just plating it up'. it finally arrived 15 minutes later. The waitress who brought over the food asked if we wanted ketchup - she was extremely rude and obnoxious and looked quite scruffy with her tied back loosely. We said we would like tomato ketchup, she then returned with a jar of ketchup that was practically empty and said 'We're running low, see what you can get out of that!' She didn't even apologise!!! My sister then realised that they hadn't brought out the side portion of fries she had ordered she asked a waitress and they brought out a bowl which had a mixture of large chunky and thin american style fries??? My little boys burger was rock solid and was too hard for him to eat so he just had to have fries. My chicken was rubbery, dry, slightly pink and had no mayo, and the paninis that my mum and sister ordered we're actually baguettes. Lots of people we're waiting ages for their food and we were'nt even asked if we would like more drinks. The service was appauling and the food not much better. I went up to the bar and told a woman I would like to pay the bill and told her about the things I wasn't happy about - she knocked 10% off the bill. Not enough at all!!! Please don't waste your money here!!!
