From friendly staff to an extensive menu, nawaabs has it all. Sajid's recipes are unique and individual with dishes to suit all tastes, the hardest part is deciding which of his specials to try next! Chicken, lamb, fish and veg are all available in a myriad of different dishes from your more commonly heard of curries (korma, madras etc) to the delights of the Afghani, the Nihari, the Haandi....the list is extensive! Personally, I recommend the 'Even Healthier Option', a dish cooked with stock, water and no added fat which means those on a health kick can continue to enjoy asian cuisine without threat to their waistlines. Try it with chicken and some added spinach - fantastic!Recently updated with new furniture, Nawaabs retains it's friendly and homely atmosphere, there is now a greater selection of draught beers and a delivery service is now available too (remember folks, 10% discount on menu prices for collection/delivery meals) which means even if you cannot be bothered to leave the house, Sajid's fantastic food can come to you.....Highly recommended....and if you can't get to Oakwood, then there are 2 partner restaurants, one in Leeds City Centre and one in Bradford also...(not to mention Benidorm and Majorca!) so really, what's your excuse??Noj
