Excellent Fish and Chips... Plus extras including sausage, large fish, sauces! A really decent meal any time of the week. Definitely worth a try.

We have been going to the Maypole for over eight years now and it is a fifty mile round trip for us to go. The service is always first classfish and chipe cooked to perfection! We never have them anywhere else as they simply do not compare to Maypoles. Keep it up

Discovered this gem a couple of months ago and have been going regularly since then.

The food is superb as the fish is always fresh and the chips are cooked to perfection.

We usually go into the small but comfortable dining area at the rear and take a bottle of wine as they are not licensed for alcohol.

They provide wine glasses, with no corkage charge and are happy for you take your own.

Soft drinks and hot beverages are available. I can highly recommend the Maypole for good food and a friendly efficient service.
